FAQ
1. Do I really need a program in order to read through the entire Bible?
No,but your changes of successfully completing the reading are much greater when you use The Bible in 90 DaysTM. The majority of those who finish the readinf say they would have never read the entire Bible without the support of The Bible in 90 DaysTM system.

2. Is it absolutely necessary to use The Bible in 90 DaysTM Bible?
No. However, we highly recommend that you do, because few other Bibles have the combination of features that are important to successfully completing the reading. These features include: start and stop marks for each day’s readings, reader-friendly, scripturally-accurate New International Version translation (not a paraphrase version), large print and few footnotes for easy reading, and hard-bound and thinline for convenient portability.

In the context of a group, it is very helpful to standardize on one Bible version, so that the discussion will be about the meaning of the text rather than the differences in various participants' versions of the Bible.

Also, being able to refer to page numbers rather than book/chapter/verse in the group helps beginners keep up with veteran readers during discussions.

3. Why do I need a Participant's Guide?
The Participant’s Guide provides valuable background information for your reading, gives questions that will be discussed in a group setting, and helps you track where you are and organize your questions and insights in a convenient place.

4. Do we need to watch the teaching videos?
It is important that each group meeting include a lesson that provides insights into to the previous week's reading. The majority of Sunday school classes or small groups use the lessons provided on the teaching videos for this purpose. Lessons may also be taught live by your own clergy or lay leaders. Lesson leaders are encouraged to refer to the video lessons as part of their own research.

5. Why 90 days?
For many people, 90 days is short enough to stay focused on the goal, and long enough to keep the daily reading from becoming overly burdensome. Reading the Bible at this pace also surfaces connections between parts in the Bible that just aren't evident when reading from cover-to-cover over the course of a year or five years. Further, a 90-day reading plan makes it simple to fit it into a season, such as spring, summer or fall.

6. Is any training required to lead a The Bible in 90 DaysTM group?
No formal training is required. Group leaders are given complete, easy-to-follow instructions in the Leader's Kit. With this information, even a person who has never read the Bible before can successfully lead a group through the program.

7. How can we promote The Bible in 90 DaysTM so that our whole church or community participates?
At the simplest level, you can just pick up the phone and call people you think might be likely candidates. In addition, depending on this size of your church or community, you may want to choose one or more of the following promotional approaches:
Insert for Church Bulletins
Articles(s) in Church newsletter or local newpaper
Press release to local newspapers or newsweeklies
Brochure to hand out
Self-mailing brochures
Posters
Promotional email
Sames of these can be found on the website and the Church resource DVD available in the whole-church kit or Leaders Pack

8.How can we find out if other churches in our area doing or have done The Bible in 90 DaysTM?
